fifty asked: We have one new computer on the Internet but our Earthlink connection filled the hard drives of the two old computers, so I had to disconnect them. It seems that it downloaded Internet files onto our hard drives and even though I disabled this feature (Accelerator), it still filled our hard drives.
Now we are switching to DSL. There is one gig available on one of the old computers. I don’t know whether I can install the DSL software using this one gig, whether it can be installed on an external drive (or whether it must be in the programs file) or whether there will be any other issues. Any advice would be appreciated.
I don’t have any web browsers on these computers. So could I use a new web browser on these computers?
